Nestled at an altitude of 650 metres, its peak offers a spectacular view over the Saguenay River. In addition, it has a vertical drop of 450 metres. The ski station offers fresh snow which covers the ground from November to March. You can find safe runs, filled with challenges and fun! Mont- Édouard ranks in 6th place as the most important mountain in Quebec.

Enjoy riding the 28 runs on the northern side of the mountain. Beginners will have hours of fun skiing its 3 km long run, and for advanced skiers, there are runs that can reach up to 62% angle. Furthermore, you can also challenge yourself by checking out our off-pist runs, sliding on tubes, or simply enjoying a family ski lesson with a professional instructor. A wide variety of options are offered.

After skiing, if you feel like relaxing a little, you can enjoy our bar, shops, or
cafeteria services in order to recharge your energy before enjoying a great evening.

Believe it or not, winter actually comes to an end in L’Anse-St-Jean.
However, when snow melts, it does not mean that all the activities are over. In fact, other entertaining activities are offered.
 

Spring, fall, and summer are filled with all sort of interesting activities.
Mountain biking, cycling, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, swimming, and sailing are a few examples of the many marvelous outdoor activities. For more adventurous people, you can hike all the way to the panoramic viewpoint of L’Anse-de-Tabatière and admire the Saguenay Fjord which ranks in 7th place as Canada’s most beautiful natural attraction.

Enjoy some family time; join our cultural events, and when winter will be back, the ski slopes await your return as well as the cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing, and snowmobiling.
